How does someone even start a blog, anyway? There's usually grand introductions that get buried and then they cover a topic they're really autistic about for a few posts before abandoning the blog, or they post a bunch of memes and embarrass themselves talking about their life. I'm pretty careful about keeping my life between me and my trusted elite, but then I realized, how the hell are strangers supposed to know me? Small talk clearly doesn't work, and people clearly see me and admire me from the glimpses they get when I deign to be in public with my friends. So I thought, yeah I should have a blog probably I have Big Thoughts now and again. I've agonized a long time over where to put a blog, too. I don't want to suffer a purge like The Great Porn Ban of Tumblr or simply disappear into the abyss like Twitter will one of these days. I ended up deciding it should be mine, under my control, and everyone else gets the watered down copy of it.
